  3. In terms of overall dimensions, the Do 335 
  4. and the P-47 were both very large aircraft 
  5. considering the type of operational roles 
  6. they were intended to fulfill.  Had they 
  7. met in combat, the results would certainly 
  8. have been interesting.  The rugged 
  9. construction and heavy firepower of the 
  10. Thunderbolt would make it a tough 
  11. opponent for the Pfeil.  The speed and 
  12. raw power of the Dornier's twin engines 
  13. would have given it a performance edge, 
  14. although the P-47 might have had better 
  15. maneuverability.

  20. as they approach Hanover rail center.  
  21. You've been briefed about a fast new 
  22. Luftwaffe fighter type, the Dornier 335, so 
  23. keep your eyes peeled.  Engage any 
  24. enemy fighters that attack the bombers, 
  25. but stay with your "big friends" as much as 
  26. possible.
